How can you improve the ergonomics of sport products? This is the question Dr. Kim Tofaute and his team is asking whenever they meet a client or use a sport product. The potential for advanced ergonomics is huge. With better function the design will not attract only short term. The athlet will be more satisfied every time when he is using the product. So good ergonomics will be also good economics. We are the specialist with ergonomics analysis, research and design. Our clients are the leaders in their fields.

Founder, CEO at Blauvent. An eclectic collection of limited editions; bags made from paragliders.
Among some other companies worked for: SALOMON SPORTS, CAMPER shoes, TIJAR (womenswear yoga style), LEMONADE ATTACK (socks), TSG (ski helmets)
About BLAUVENT: BLAUVENT was launched in October 2009. I had in mind my own project as designer...a sustainable product that would have sense also for a passionate paraglider as I am. For that reason I started manufacturing my designs with original paraglider textile and from used and recycled ones.
The last years, besides some other clients I’ve been designing and coordinating the whole collections of a womenswear eco-label called Tijar, their headquarters are in Nepal and Spain.
One of my most recent projects were two helmet graphic designs for ski, menswear, winter 16/17 for the company TSG.

Short description: eiermann + hattenkerl is a design studio with 20 years of experience in designing functional sport apparel and leisurewear for international clients with an individual approach for innovative as well as highly commercial concepts.
We love to design functional garments. We put the athlete and his movements in the focus of our design process. Function is the true sense of activewear, but it is no fun without fashionable aspects, a great silhouette, beautiful colour and trims and of course the perfect material for its purpose. It is our goal to design great looking collections that perform. Our strength is our ability to feel the needs of a target group and therefore lead our customers to commercial success. The curiosity and incentive to develop things that didn´t exist before and which make life easier and our love for detail is also a quality of our studio. Since many years we also develop and produce trend publications for colour froecast as well as labels and accessories.

Benedik design studio was founded by a group of sport fanatics and freelancers led by Jaka Benedik. We started off as just a group of people trying to find solutions and products to help us perform better in sports. When what the market had to offer wasn’t enough, Jaka with his background in engineering and an innovator by nature started to design and develop his own solutions. His solutions/products were soon recognized first on a national level (Biennial of Design Ljubljana, Slovenian forum of innovation, Charm of Wood) and later on the international level, when he was presented with the Red dot award 2012 and a special mention in 2013&2014. He also serves as ISPO award jury member. Benedik design studio generate solutions and innovations on multiple fronts. From Backpacks, Skydiving systems, Safety helmets to Electric Violoncello. The team at Benedik design studio wants to give "use” back to the user, put function alongside form, and design innovations and not innovate design.
